Tonality Music Therapy welcomes a new music therapist! Hannah has experience working with a wide range of clients, finding enjoyment in practicing her skills in a variety of different ways. She finds particular interest in working through challenges related to the intersecting identities of neurodiversity, trauma, and chronic illness. Through her work as a neurologic music therapist, she also has experience working with stroke recovery patients and groups. Hello all! I hope everyone had an awesome Halloween yesterday! I wanted to send a reminder about Tonality’s family friendly Halloween event this afternoon from 1-3. This interactive walk through experience is free and is fun for all ages. The office is on the second floor of the Mid Penn building, directly across from the library and next to the courthouse in downtown Gettysburg. If you still have some Halloween spirit left, we’d love to see you!

This week marks the one year anniversary of opening my private practice, Tonality Music Therapy, in downtown Gettysburg. This year has taught me so much about business and myself as a professional. Upon this huge milestone, I wanted to take the time to thank YOU as the community that has surrounded me, helped me grow, and ultimately taken my dream and made it a reality. To celebrate this first year, I have a few new exciting announcements that Tonality will be offering this fall and beyond. First of all, we will be continuing the pay what you can services with a twist. Instead of having one day a month you could opt into the service initiative, the power is now in your hands to select what day a month works for you. Secondly, we will now be offering ecotherapy as well as walk-and-talk sessions. Third, Tonality continues to offer support groups which are free and open to the community. The current group running is our Neurodivergent Support Group, but we have space to bring back our parent support group or start new groups that you might see a need for! We will continue to host events for the community, so keep an eye out and follow our social media pages to stay up to date. Lastly, if you’re in need of services, there is limited slots still available for services. Thank you again from myself and the resident office corgi Nora to this amazing community and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow alongside you!
