Is speech therapy difficult to schedule around your work schedule? Reach out today to see if we are currently offering services in your child’s school! Depending on therapist availability and the policies of each program, we’re also open to adding additional preschools/daycares!

This service is only available to children in preschool/daycare programs and not available in public/private K-12 schools.

Rice bin sensory activity!!

Colorful rice makes a great indoor sensory activity for those cold winter days! I use food coloring and vinegar to dye the rice because I’m more comfortable with that for little ones as opposed to recipes that call for rubbing alcohol.

Hide puzzle pieces in the rice and your child can find them by digging them out with their hands before putting the puzzle together!

Does your kiddo have sensory aversions and the idea of putting hands directly into the rice seems a bit too much? You can use measuring cups and spoons as well as kitchen tongs to dig around and minimize the amount of contact between hands and rice while still getting your kiddo used to different textures.

*PARENT HEADS UP* this activity will be messy. I encourage kiddos to clean off the piece over the bin but there is no avoiding some kind of mess. Do it over hard surfaces instead of carpets and have your vacuum ready!
