We are honored to invite the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, and first responders who responded to our recent facility fire scare to a luncheon held in your honor.

Your quick response, professionalism, and dedication helped protect our residents, staff, and facility during a critical moment. We are incredibly grateful for your service and sacrifice.

This luncheon is our small way of saying THANK YOU for all that you do for our community. We truly hope you can join us as we recognize and appreciate each of you. This will be a drive-thru style meal located at the front of our home.

We want to provide a quick update to our community and all the families of Gideon Care Center. This evening, we had a smoke alarm triggered at our facility and after a thorough investigation we have been given the ALL CLEAR. 🩵

To our wonderful families and neighbors, we want to let you know that everyone is safe and sound!

Earlier tonight, we followed safety protocols and evacuated due to reports of smoke. It turns out the culprit was an attic exhaust fan. We have disconnected the fan, and the New Madrid County Sheriff's Office has given us the "All Clear".

Our residents are back in their rooms and getting tucked in for the night. We are so grateful to Gideon Fire Department, our local first responders, and all surrounding departments for their quick response and to our staff for keeping everyone calm and safe.
