I hear alot of comments "Oh that's just normal " when it comes to health, pain and disease. Another popular one that patients hear from their Doctors "that's just apart of getting older". Apologize for the brashness of this statement but "That is a LOAD OF $ #@! 💩 " the system wants you to belive so your dependent on it. Folks it may be common in this day and age to be in disease for many years and slow deaths but it is not normal. It is not the way it's supposed to be or can be.

85% of our disease/death can me avoided with just addressing DIET + LIFESTYLE (food, sleep, movement, stress management). The data supports this. Look at the 4 Horseman of Disease today (see
longevity expert Dr. Peter Attia): Metabolic Dysfunction, Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, and Neurodegenerative Disease, often linked by chronic inflammation. We're talking Diabetes, Obesity, Heart Attack, Stroke, Dementia & Alzheimer's and of course the dreaded Big C.

Can we completely eradicate all disease with just choosing Heathy & Intentional Diet + Lifestyle? No. But we can 85%! We'll I'm no gambler but I'll bet on those odds. Just 1 change in your daily choices can compound overtime to increase a quality life. This topic is so important and necessary it shows up more than once on these daily tips because it is greatly lacking in self care/health care especially for women I come across. I hear alot of us saying " i am having a lazy moment" when we are not busy doing some thing. We tend to fill every spot, space and opening in our schedule and mind with things to do because this is how we think we're most valuable and productive. This is not how our ancestors and folks wanting to win at the longevity game live(d). Data shows we are actually more productive with scheduled rest. This also helps us avoid burn out. There can be a harmonious balance of work, rest, play, exercise and sleep. You must be intentional to make it on your schedule. Yes! You need to schedule that in to your day or it likely won't happen. At least until it becomes a way of living for you i.e. a pattern. Taking pause to not produce but to just rest, recharge & just BE All play into a holistic approach to your health ESPECIALLY for our brain health. And what we do for the brain we do for our body! Again, this isn't just when you sleep friends. We need to make moments in our daily routine to TAKE PAUSE. 15 min, 30 min 1 hr? Without phones or making to do lists for the next day (I see you over-doers). Think about it... when is the last time you did this for yourself without guilt or judgment? And no this does not mean folding clothes in front of the TV (Guilty!). Start small but consistant. Try it as an experiment and then take note of the outcome at the end of the day. 15 min during the work week same time every day is a great starting point. Add in sunshine if you can for extra benefit ✨️

This is different and necessary for health. Make it ceremonial. Make it in sunshine. Make it alone or with community. Make it daily. Make it intentional.

You don't have to walk this earth alone. Community is everything to me. Without id be floating in space for no one to receive my love. Tragic to think about honestly. Women need other women. We were designed and created to live by the sun rising & setting ☀️ 🌙 . What does this mean in modern high tech era? Quite literally you wake with the sun rising and you settled in when it sets. Your body needs natural light in the morning. Its suggested even if it's cloudy ⛅️ you go out first thing and get some natural light on your whole body. 20 min. This triggers Vitamin D production for strong bones and immunity, boosts mood-lifting serotonin, regulates sleep by influencing melatonin, lowers blood pressure, supports immune function, and improves cognitive health, helping with everything from bone strength to mental well-being. All of this means better sleep. Better sleep means a better you. If you feel a bit of a dip in energy mid afternoon do a repeat ... step away from your work {i.e. screens etc} and get 20 min of natural sun light. Here's the best part.... you repeat this in the evening AS THE SUN SETS to trigger melatonin response! It settles your body and sends signals to slow things down in your body and prepare for sleep. Dim your home lighting and def use blue light on screens. 1-3hrs before bed stay off screens. Read a book, listen to music, write in a journal, be with family, cozy up to your fur babes, pray, make ceremony ✨️ out of this routine.

I am always seeking new added ways to nurture the human spirit and offer ways to connect us to our best selves, nature and our great Creator. This year I stumbled into Sound Healing with Singing Bowls. I have been learning through a wonderful Thai instructor about the science, history and technique of Tibetan Sound Bowls. I invested in this learning and some quality handmade bowls out of Kathmandu, Nepal. Metal Bowls originate from Himalayan Regions of Tibet, Nepal + Bhutan. The process of making them involves heating the metals of bronze alloy (primarily copper + tin) in a furnace and then hand hammering them into shape. I always geek out on The Science' of things. I love to learn how things impact our brains, bodies and environment. Hearing sound bowls as well as FEELING their vibration can greatly impact The Central Nervous System (the body's command center aka brain and spinal cord) as well as The Vagus Nerve (our bodies cranial nerve which acts as the main highway for the parasympathetic nervous system). If you know anything about massage you activate or engage the PNS through calming techniques like massage. Also, deep breath work, meditation, nature, yoga and even laughter. Think of it like ironing out wrinkles deep in your body's internal systems. Or choppy waves being calmed to serene glass like waters. Sound bowls help you get there and almost instantly. I've experienced it myself and I witness it with all my clients who have added them into their Thai Session. It's mysterious and profound but really just basic science. It calms nervousness, anxiety, anger, insomnia, pain, impacts from PTSD, OCD and other traumatic experiences that get lodged into our physical/mental/emotional body.

I am now offering an add on of these beautiful handmade bowls into a 90Min or 120Min Thai Session for just $20.

Quick Reminder: My massage rates are increasing in the new year to accommodate increased cost of living and business and I genuinely try to keep these to a minimum so that everyone has access to healing bodywork while still being able to provide for my family and cover my business costs.
