We are seeking healthcare providers working in primary clinics across the United States to participate in an important research study titled:

“Examining Individual and Healthcare Provider Barriers to Depression Screening, Diagnosis, and Referral in Populated Filipino American Communities"

Eligibility Criteria:
1. You must be a healthcare provider (e.g., physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant) currently working in a primary care clinic in the U.S.
2. You should be actively engaged in clinical practice.
3. You have provided care to older adult patients who identify as Filipino American.

Clinician well-being is an important contributor to patient safety and quality of care. Research has shown that when healthcare professionals are distressed, they tend to be less attentive, less empathic, and more likely to commit medical errors.

This introductory course by UF Continuing Medical Education describes strategies to improve clinician well-being and professional fulfillment. It reviews drivers of distress embedded in the healthcare system while highlighting individual risk factors that are common among healthcare professionals. Lessons focus on methods and resources to promote professional fulfillment within the healthcare setting by improving the culture, reducing inefficiencies, and accessing available supports.
