Some even drew inspiration from meaningful traditions like Día de los Mu***os, beautifully celebrating culture and connection.

The great burger debate continues! A few of our residents recently set out on a fun day trip from Gig Harbor to Vancouver to visit Washington’s very first In-N-Out Burger.

It was a two-hour trek fueled by laughter, good company, and (of course) great burgers!

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially unveiled The Lighthouse, our newly reimagined Memory Care at Heron’s Key!

We recently celebrated this milestone with residents, families, and team members at a ribbon-cutting party. It was a joyful community celebration and the culmination of a shared vision that shaped The Lighthouse and our philosophy of person-centered memory care.

This innovative neighborhood was thoughtfully designed to support residents in living as independently as possible while staying engaged in a meaningful life. Every detail reflects our commitment to creating a supportive, enriching environment.

We’ve now welcomed our first residents, and we’re so happy to bring this beautiful new space to life.

Our Community Engagement Committee recently hosted a Washington State Senate candidate forum for the 26th Legislative District here at Heron’s Key. We were pleased to welcome Sen. Deb Krishnadasan and Rep. Michelle Caldier for an informative discussion and resident Q&A.

Events like this give our residents the opportunity to stay informed, engage directly with leaders, and ensure their voices are heard.

Earlier this summer, residents set out on our first overnight excursion, and it was one to remember! A scenic train ride to Leavenworth, exploring the charming town, sharing delicious meals, and a beautiful outdoor performance of The Sound of Music made it an unforgettable adventure.

Trips like this are a wonderful way to create memories, enjoy new experiences together, and keep the spirit of adventure alive. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
