There are so many incredible benefits when ingesting your placenta! Increased milk supply, hormone stabilization, boost of energy, iron and vitamin B, the list goes on.

One of the most important, is reducing the likelihood of having postpartum anxiety/depression. Postpartum mood disorders affects 1 in 5 women after they have a baby, and I was one of them. Choosing to encapsulate your placenta can be so helpful with that transition 💕

Had the honor of encapsulating this mama’s placenta for the 3rd time! 😍

I met this mama when I was her oldest son’s preschool teacher and it was such a blessing that we crossed paths! Since then, I have been supporting her after each baby following him ❤️ I can’t thank you all enough for being a supporter of my dreams while I also support you as a mama! This is the best “job” ever 🥰

I’ve got some new faces here & it’s been a minute since you’ve seen my face, so here’s a little about me! My name is Andrea but everyone calls me Drea ✨ I am the owner and operator of Blissful Balance Birth as a Certified birth/postpartum doula, Placenta Specialist, Childbirth & Breastfeeding Educator ⚖️🌸
I am also an Arizona native, born and raised here in Gilbert, Az. I am first and foremost a daughter to the King ✝️ a wife and mother to God’s greatest gift to us, our son 🩵
I started & launched this business in 2020 but I have loved birth & pregnancy since I was a 6 year old watching “A Baby Story” on TLC and have not stopped pursuing my passion since! I also am a clinic manager for a Brain Performance Center and have so many different interests from scrapbooking, journaling, singing in worship, to camping and off-roading with my family! I am blessed to be in this space and have loved everyone I’ve met & all the experiences I’ve had since this all started! I hope to share my knowledge of pregnancy, birth and postpartum with you while glorifying the Lord in the midst of it all. During this particular season of life, I am only focusing on placenta encapsulation but DMs are always open if you have questions regarding anything! I am so happy you’re here 🩷

Happy Cesarean Awareness month!✨

I am so happy to celebrate my belly birth this month (and always)!
This month is to bring light to all education regarding cesarean, finding proper resources and information that support you to have the best cesarean experience. This is cesarean awareness, NOT prevention.

I had a planned c-section after losing most of my amniotic fluid post Covid and baby being breech. There was no way to turn him as I didn’t have much fluid and I did not feel comfortable vaginally delivering breech either. Initially I was nervous, totally normal as I was about to have my first and most intense abdominal surgery. I was originally scheduled on a Friday but found out at my appt on Tuesday that my son was to come that day! I instantly felt peace. I had prayed and talked about it with others for almost two weeks. We went home, showered, packed the car, said our “see you later’s” to family and we’re off to the hospital! We got there everyone was so calm & happy! We got all prepped & then it was time to head back. I had the most amazing nurses and the anesthesiology assistant- SHE WAS AN ANGEL. She was everything I needed in that moment. She was a seasoned assistant and told me to “pretend she was my grandma” so I did. And I felt so comfortable, so at peace & so excited to finally meet my baby boy. I remember I was so cold and the assistant kept giving me warm towels and rubbing my arm. The next thing I heard was “okay dad get your camera ready, are you guys ready to meet your baby?” Best day of my life 💗

Coming home & the recovery was rough to be totally transparent. I definitely was over working myself the first few days. After reminding myself I just had major abdominal surgery, I relaxed. I took my time. I asked for help. The account really helped me learn how to spend the next few weeks and what I could do to help recovery go smoothly!
C-section awareness month is to bring awareness and education about preparing for cesarean & postpartum. I advise EVERYONE to educate themselves in preparation of all circumstances!

I am so proud of my belly birth & will always love my birth story. It’s exactly what was meant for us. 💗
