Weekends have the ability to sabotage all of the effort we make during the week. Here are some easy tips to overcoming weekend sabotage.

✅ Stop trying to be so perfect during the week! This perfection causes us to feel deprived and by Friday willpower runs out.

✅ Plan your weekend meals! Without a plan, you will just end up down the old path of winging it and you know where that got you? It got you moving away from your goals and not towards them.

✅ Make better choices when you're out! The more small positive choices the better. We often forget about the small choices on weekends.

✅ Tell your circle. “I have a goal and I’m sticking to it!” Tell the people in your circle that you have a goal and that it’s important to you. Ask them for support when they are around.

Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?

At the core, It’s lack of control that so many people are experiencing. People feel irritable, frustrated, and fatigued. For people recovering from illness, as well as those who are sick and tired of what our society is going through, here are some tips to remember:

1. Focus on what you can control! It’s crucial to get regular sleep and physical activity, so make the effort to maintain a consistent sleep cycle and keep active.

2. Acknowledge your feelings! It’s natural to feel irritable, sad and frustrated. What you can control, is your behavior and response to those feelings. When interacting with family or colleagues, be aware of your emotional state and manage your behaviors.

3. Hang in there! Take into account that everyone is sacrificing and coping with something in their life. Reflect on what you are grateful for in YOUR life. For those who are physically recovering from illness, accept that it may take time to fully feel better and do your best to maintain a positive attitude.

Warmer weather and blooming flowers mark the end of winter and the start of spring. However, with spring comes possible allergens!

Despite our desert climate, Arizona does have spring allergens and Arizonans can still suffer from bothersome spring allergies.

Most common plants that trigger spring allergies in Arizona are: Ash, Bermuda grass, Cottonwood, Johnson grass, Juniper, Mesquite, Mulberry, Ragweed.
