Skin transformation in full effect 🤩 Check out my sweet, beautiful patient’s results just 4 weeks after getting a Mermaid Facial 🧜‍♀️

Swipe left to see her before & after compared to almost 1 year ago. We did a combination of treatments to address all of her concerns. Here’s what we did 👇

PDO Threadlift (full face) to improve skin laxity, tired eyes, and heaviness in the mid & lower face

PCDC to the sub mental area (under chin) to improve the profile

Filler to the jawline, chin, and lips to balance her other features and create a softer overall look while adding definition to her face shape

The goodies 🔥 have taken effect for this gorgeous face 😍

The breakdown 👇

—> 1 syringe of Juvederm Voluma to create a soft & elegant contour to the cheeks & draw the attention to the upper third of the face. In this case less was more to blend and tie in the natural high point of her cheekbone aka the malar eminence. Voluma lasts 2 years (sometimes even longer which is why I love it) and is my go to for enhancing cheeks due to its natural look and feel, as well as robust thickness to put in the work necessary for larger areas of the face.

—> 40 units of Botox to slim the masseter muscles of the jaw. This relaxes the muscle and leads to atrophy or shrinking to the size of the jaw muscle without affecting functions such as chewing. It can also relieve teeth grinding or jaw clenching, offering a therapeutic solution in addition to a cosmetically satisfying result. Those with a square or round jaw who desire a V shaped lower face shape are perfect candidates for masseter slimming. The treatment itself takes 5 min and is virtually painless, with long lasting results anywhere from 4-6 months before needing another treatment to maintain the desired result.

Face card tune up ✅

This beauty got the whole package to rejuvenate her great bone structure. By addressing areas where bone recession & decreased fat pads were starting to show, we were able to restore clean lines to her facial shape—especially from her side profile. Note how treating the chin & jawline improved her neck. Also treating the pyriform aperture helped lift her nose and lips by mimicking the bone structure of the upper mandible/base of nose.

Y’all probably remember me polling you guys asking how many syringes we used, and the answer is 6 syringes total. It sounds like a lot, but remember one syringe is the same volume as a blueberry. So six blueberries to rejuvenate the face as a whole is not uncanny when you think about it 😉

dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance within our bodies. It will improve skin hydration, texture, appearance of fine lines and replace volume where it is depleted. When placed properly it can look extremely natural. I don’t like to correct 100% in one session, as this can result in increased water attraction to the tissue that may result in a puffy or overdone appearance. Results tend to look best between two and four weeks and will last one to two years, depending on the person. In my experience, fillers tend to last a lot longer than what they are known. In this patient’s case, I would recommend touching up any areas in 12-18 months with 1-2 syringes to keep things looking fresh.
