Our Story

My mom became ill in her early 50’s with breast cancer. There was absolutely no history of breast cancer in our family – and she fought it twice. As doctor and daughter, I had to understand why…and how could this happen? There must be some logical explanation – some reasoning that would put the unthinkable in perspective for me, for our family.

When our son became ill, it set me on a pathway to answers. It caused me to lean in a little closer to whole person care and science-based solutions that rendered a successful outcome. I was so frustrated! Turns out that as a doctor even, having the facts, knowledge, training and skillset – none of it answered my questions!

That’s when I knew I needed to learn more and seek out solutions from a team of experts. That’s the difference – a team of experts that work together on one individual’s personalized healthcare needs. Integrative, whole-person care. I needed more than to rely upon the unreliability of pharmaceutical and medical insurance industries. My approach to medicine was changing for the better – and so was my practice.
