A New Horizon LLC. is currently hiring Special Needs Caregivers to work with children and adults with disabilities throughout the East Valley. This includes Scottsdale, Mesa, Apache Junction, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek and San Tan Valley.
The Services we provide to our clients include the following:
•Respite Services: This service allows for the client’s parents or guardians to get out of the house for a while, to go see a movie, go out to dinner, take a vacation, or even catch up on an overdue nap.
•Habilitation Services: The service provider will use a variety of methods, designed for both further developing the client’s personal care, and daily living skills. The provider will assist in teaching the client skills to maximize their independence. This may be worked on in the client’s home, or even in a community setting.
•Attendant Care Services: The service provider will work with assisting the client to attain and maintain safe living conditions and/or maintain personal cleanliness, and the normal activities of daily living. Attendant care services focus on maximizing the client’s independence across a variety of settings.
*Home Health Care/I.D.L.A. (Independently Designed Living Arrangements) This service is for our clients that like to be independent and live in their own homes. The Care Provider will assist the client with all daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, shopping, working on individual set life goals at home and in the community and what ever else the client may need help with.
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Have three (3) non-family references.
· Clear all background checks.
· Must pass E-Verify
· Obtain a Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
· Certified in CPR, First Aid & Article 9; or training will be offered upon employment.
· Must Provide 39 Month MVD Driving Record
· Must Provide Current Vehicle Insurance and Vehicle Registration
