I am posting to share that Dr. Christy Sunny will be leaving Morning Star OB/GYN effective July 31, 2025. It has been a great privilege to serve alongside her in caring for you for these last 18 months.

Dr. Sunny will continue to provide care for patients until July 31st. For your obstetrics and gynecological care, the team at Morning Star OB/GYN will continue to deliver you the highest quality service. For Family Medicine services you will need to continue your care with another physician/practice. Your insurance can provide a listing of Family Medicine providers in our area. You may request to have your medical records transferred to a new provider by completing a medical records transfer request with their office or by submitting your request to us in writing.

Thank you for entrusting us with your healthcare needs. We wish you continued health and well-being. Thank you for your partnership as we navigate this change together.

In an effort to serve you better we have updated our phone prompts. Our desire is to answer all calls with a live team mate. If they are on the line or with another patient, calls will be routed to updated prompts. These will allow you to leave non urgent messages for specific teams including the billing office and MA/Nurse lines.
