$1495 reached so far! My animal loving friends and community are simply amazing! Please keep sharing as we have quite a bit still of our emergency bill left so we can shift focus to every day care. Update: 11/9 Kodiak’s ALT level is 893! Yes it’s still extremely high…BUT when he went to the emergency vet in October his level was 5,399!!! Over FIVE THOUSAND …. That is hard to stomach. We almost lost our boy.

Vet was excited with his progress and we go back in 2 weeks for one last check up🤞

11/8: Kody is still eating well. Tolerating high end refrigerated and canned food. We decided on Science diet as it agrees well with him.

Tomorrow we go to the vet for another bloodwork checkup! I am nervous….. I am hopeful that his numbers look well enough to be seen monthly 🤞🙏

11/5: Kody got sick yesterday for the first time in a long while. We were bummed. But he is doing well today and ate very well this morning! He goes Thursday for another set of bloodwork.

Please keep sharing! Y’all have been so supportive and we have almost half of his emergency visit taken care of so we can concentrate on his weekly checkups for bloodwork!! 🙌❤️

🙏I wanted to update everyone on Kodiak

11/2: Bloodwork recheck at his regular vet.

1 liver enzyme came down, 1 up slightly

BUT his bilirubin is almost normal!!!

AND he has gained almost 10 lbs in 7 days!!!

She is pleased with his progress. Liver enzymes can be wonky for a while after ingesting a toxin. We go back in 7 days for another recheck then hopefully only monthly after that!
