Desert Shores Pediatrics has pediatric offices located in Gilbert and Chandler Arizona. We will provide the full spectrum of pediatric healthcare (well, sick, preventative and urgent care) from birth to age 18. Procedures offered include: laboratory services (limited), hearing and vision testing, breathing treatments, splinting, wart removal, catheterizations, ear irrigations, laceration repair, removal of foreign bodies, abscess drainage and circumcisions.

Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) confirmed a new measles case in a Maricopa County resident not associated with previously confirmed cases in the county and with no known source of exposure, suggesting local transmission in Maricopa County. In alignment with CDC guidance in the setting of a local measles outbreak, MCDPH recommends infants aged 6-11 months to get early MMR vaccination.

Individuals who were at the following locations at the listed dates and times may have been exposed and should watch for symptoms for the 21 days following their exposure:

April 3rd from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
People should watch for symptoms through April 25th, 2026.
