We’re honored to be a part of Light the World East Valley Giving Machines this year!
Through this incredible initiative, we’re able to provide the resources for the community we serve – individuals with developmental disabilities – to ensure they’re able to learn, grow, and thrive. To make this possible, we’re seeking support with expanding access to specialized materials, inclusive programming, and adaptive equipment. With your help, we’re able to provide the best care to those we serve and create a safe, vibrant community.

LIFE celebrated the crisp air, cozy vibes, and everything we love about autumn on campus with a fun Pumpkin Palooza! Through it all, we found the best pumpkins in the patch – our amazing friends and staff!💙🍁

Children with special needs often have sensory processing differences, where their brain may have difficulty receiving and responding to information from their senses. This can manifest as being over-sensitive to things like loud noises or scratchy clothes, or under-sensitive, causing them to seek out more stimulation through activities like jumping, running, or touching objects. Understanding these needs is key to supporting them in daily life and education. 🎄We’re very excited to be a part of Light the World Giving Machine East Valley this year! Giving Machines are unique vending machines with a twist: instead of purchasing a candy bar or a soda, you can donate an act of love and charity. You can choose items including sensory and learning materials that directly support individuals with developmental disabilities.
This is a wonderful and engaging way to give back to the community and support LIFE, alongside other local nonprofits. Kick off starts next month, on November 17th at the Gilbert Water Tower Plaza. Thank you for your support, not only during the holidays, but all year long!
