Do you have oily bumps on your forehead or chin? Maybe your chest or back? Have tried everything from creams and antibiotics to treat it, and it never really goes away? You may have pityrosporum folliculitis- sometimes referred to as “fungal acne”. The reason this condition doesn’t improve with traditional acne treatments is because it’s not acne at all. It’s an overgrowth of yeast that causes the skins follicles to become inflamed.
