The Campo Verde High School Biomedical Science Program nspires team work, curiosity, “out of the box” thinking, and real world problem solving. Students will be exposed to careers related to science, with an emphasis on allied health care and biomedical engineering. The CVHS Biomedical Science Program implements a three tiered approach: Project based classroom instruction the is rich, varied, and challenging, “Real World” experiences such as guest speakers, company tours, university tours, job shadowing, internships, and after school competitions, and Service Of Others through numerous community service projects designed to inspire the community and students.

Day 6- PM. A highlight of our trip was a medical walking tour explaining the past, present and future of medicine. Also visited and got a brief introduction to Florence Nightingale life and contribution. Plus a great view of Elizabeth Tower, Westminster Abby, and Parliament.

Day 4- a beautiful scenic view of the countryside via train to London. Saw the infamous 9 3/4 platform. Walked to the top of a building to see the city skyline…top of St. Paul Cathedral where Princess Diana and King Charles wed.
Next stop was riding the London eye. As we headed towards dinner we walked through a very creative 300 meter graffiti tunnel.

We also visited Surgeon’s Hall Museum where every organ / part of your body with a disorder is displayed among trying out some simulations of surgeon skills. Such as the DaVinci machine. Laparoscopy tools, and Surgeon’s knots, ext.
At the Graveyard, we rubbed Greyfrier Dog’s nose for good luck. This dog stayed at the cemetery even after his owner passed away.
We also went on a mission to find J. K. Rowlin’s inspiration, Thomas Riddell. AKA Lord Voldemort.
