Unpopular esthetician opinion:

Steam doesn’t belong in most modern facials, and we stopped using it completely. 😮

I know it feels like a spa essential, but here’s the reality:

Pores don’t open and close.
Heat isn’t required to prep the skin.
And for many clients, steam actually increases redness, sensitivity, and barrier stress.
