Last night, the Foundation hosted our 4th Annual Cancer Survivor Dinner—an evening devoted to honoring the strength, resilience, and hope of local survivors who have received support from our Cancer Care Committee. Each survivor attended with a loved one by their side, making the night a powerful celebration of courage, connection, and community.
We were honored to hear from Margaret Barnes, MD, who shared insights about the evolving advances in cancer treatment. We also heard from Eric Barlow, Wyoming State Senator, who spoke about his personal experiences with cancer and shared a brief update following the recent Budget Session, along with the Stem Cell Freedom Act. We are deeply grateful for their leadership and their commitment to caring for neighbors in our community.
Attendees enjoyed a wonderful meal at The Prime Rib, and thanks to our incredibly generous sponsors, this entire celebration was completely free for every survivor and guest. That kind of generosity speaks volumes. That’s neighbors helping neighbors.
With sincere gratitude, thank you to our sponsors:

✨ Campco Federal Credit Union
✨ L&H Industrial
✨ Rehab Solutions Physical Therapy
And heartfelt thanks to: Cargill Family Properties • Ketel Thorstenson, LLP • Kissack Water & Oil Service • Target Signs Co. • TenderCare, LLC • Thurston Family • Kelly Sams
Your generosity helped create an evening filled with dignity, warmth, and celebration—reminding every survivor in the room that they are seen, valued, and never alone.
The Survivor Dinner is a beautiful reminder that in our community, no one walks through cancer alone.
Thank you for standing with our neighbors when it matters most. đź’›
