❤️5 Ways To Love Your Back ❤️

Your back works hard for you every single day — from sitting at work to lifting, walking, working out, and everything in between. If you’re dealing with stiffness, poor posture, or nagging aches, strengthening your back and core can make a huge difference in reducing pain and improving mobility.

Try adding these 5 simple exercises into your routine to support a stronger, healthier back:

✅ 1. Bird Dogs
Start on hands and knees. Lift your right arm and left leg simultaneously while keeping your back straight. Then lift your left arm and right leg. This helps strengthen your lower back and improve core stability.

✅ 2. Glute Bridges
Lie on your back with knees bent and lift your hips off the floor. This targets the glutes, hips, and lower back to boost stability.

✅ 3. Rows (Resistance Band or Dumbbell)
Pull your shoulder blades together in a rowing motion to strengthen the upper back, rear delts, and rhomboids — great for posture correction!

✅ 4. Superman / Back Extensions
Lie face down and gently lift your arms and legs slightly off the floor. This strengthens your entire posterior chain.

✅ 5. Walking
Regular brisk walking is a low-impact way to strengthen the muscles that support your spine and improve overall mobility.

✨ Bonus Tip: Daily stretching and core-stabilizing exercises like planks can help maintain a healthy, pain-free back.

Taking care of your back now can help prevent pain later!

Our free Cancer Care Exercise Program is starting again, and we’re honored to offer it to our community. This program is led by Jara Soost, LAT, ATC, and Chris Clouston, DPT, who both bring experience working with cancer patients. They are also cancer survivors themselves, which gives them a unique understanding of the physical and emotional side of recovery.

These classes focus on helping improve strength, mobility, energy levels, and overall quality of life during and after cancer treatment.

Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00–1:00 PM, February 24 through April 16.

If you or someone you love could benefit, we would be honored to be part of your care team. Call (307) 682-4900 to learn more.

ACL reconstruction is often the first step. Rehab is what gets you back to running, jumping, and trusting your knee again.

Physical therapy focuses on restoring strength, stability, and full range of motion while rebuilding confidence in how your knee moves. Whether your goal is returning to a sport or just getting back to everyday activity, proper rehab makes all the difference.

If ACL recovery is on your radar, we’re here to help guide the process. (307) 682-4900

❤️February is Heart Health Month❤️

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, but many risk factors are preventable.

🚨Common risk factors include physical inactivity, poor nutrition, high blood pressure, stress, poor sleep, and smoking.

💙The good news? Small lifestyle changes make a big difference:
Move more
Eat heart-healthy foods
Manage stress
Prioritize sleep
Know your numbers

🏃If you're usually sedentary, start small:
5-10 minutes of walking
Move a little each hour
Choose activities you enjoy

Even small amounts of movements can improve heart health.

❤️Your heart works for you everyday - show it some love this month.

Tennis elbow isn’t just for tennis players. It’s caused by overuse of the forearm muscles, especially from repetitive gripping, lifting, typing, or using tools.

The tendons around the elbow become irritated, leading to pain, weakness, and soreness with everyday activities. Physical therapy can help reduce strain, improve strength, and get your arm back to working without pain.
