🎄✨ Christmas Cheer at Gilman Healthcare Center! 🎁❤️

What a wonderful celebration we had this year! Our residents felt the warmth of the season, surrounded by generosity and love. On Christmas Day, each resident joyfully opened gifts donated by St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Crescent City, spreading smiles all around.

Throughout the week, we were showered with kindness as our friends from St. George Catholic Church Bourbonnais brought us blankets, chocolates, and other delightful goodies. Special thanks to Zion United Church of Christ and the Village of Chebanse for the tasty snacks and cookies! Mary and her friends threw a party giving a big bag of wish list items to each resident.
We also received heartfelt cards from Shirley Swain, the Lions Clubs, and amazing students from Iroquois West CUSD 10.

A big thank you to Jan for her generous monetary donation, which made this Christmas even more special! We are truly grateful for all the support from our community! 💖

🎄🎉 Day Two of Christmas Cheer at Gilman Healthcare Center! 🎅✨

Today, we brought the festive spirit to life with some fun holiday headwear! Our residents enjoyed a cozy hot chocolate bar, complete with delicious pfeffernusse cookies handmade by our wonderful Director of Nursing, Donna! 🍫🍪

To spread even more joy, we gifted our residents comfy socks and refreshing body wash. It’s all about making this season special and filled with love! ❤️

We were delighted to welcome a few young men from Nexus Family Healing Center, who brought with them handmade holiday cards to share some extra joy with our residents. Their thoughtful gesture truly brightened our day!

🎉🅱️ This week, our CrossRoads residents embraced the chilly weather and headed to The Arc of Iroquois County for a fun-filled Bingo outing! 🌟

A few of our dedicated bingo lovers braved the cold to enjoy time at their Day Program and make new friends!

Laughter and cheers filled the air as everyone had a blast playing together. Thank you to our friends at the Arc for the warm welcome, we can't wait to join you again! 🙌❤️
