Our departments had such a great time decorating for Christmas! The winner of this year's door decorating contest was "St. Nicole!" Congratulations! They all looked great!

Monday afternoon we colored with the Gladbrook Clover Kids and today we crafted with the Gladbrook Public Library Story Hour! Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Wow! What an amazing day last Friday was! We started the morning off by the GMG Elementary School 5th & 6th grade classes serenading us with Christmas music, followed by our second Christmas party!

We are so incredibly thankful for the community members, schools, families, and businesses that think of us during the holiday season. We have been flooded with goodies, treats, Christmas songs, and holiday wishes for our staff and residents. Thank you!

Our first Christmas party yesterday went off without a hitch! Everyone loved their gifts.

Our residents were joined by the G-R TK kids this morning, where we did a snowman craft. We are so excited to see it helped bring in this wonderful white precipitation falling from the sky this afternoon! 🌨️❄️☃️⛄️❄️

This morning, we had the privilege of playing games with students from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School. 3 young men were even kind enough to decorate one of our Christmas trees!

Thankful for the Gladbrook Commercial Club for putting together the tree lighting tonight. Our activities department and a few residents put together our tree this year! "Snow much fun!" was this year's theme and we thought we would incorporate America's upcoming 250th birthday.

"250 years of snow much fun in America!" was the theme of our Westbrook tree.

Last week we were joined by the Gladbrook-Reinbeck T-K class and made some pretty cute leaf shaker ornaments! Our residents always welcome any visits from children.

Thank you, Lisa, for giving a wonderful Veterans Day program for us yesterday. We love being able to honor not only the Veterans within our facility, but those out in the community as well.
