Now is the time to start pushing for completion. It is the right situation. The creeper trail is under construction. Hundreds of millions of dollars for repair projects for flood damage. The salt trail would take a fraction of that to become a jewel. Remember that our exit 29 in Glade is the same exit that a large percentage of south bound creeper trail traffic travels. Let’s take advantage of that and make this town thrive.. We are all in for the future of this town and are getting very excited about the future

Good morning posting this picture again. I can’t say enough about how much this town has come to mean to me over the last four year
Halloween will be my 4th year full time in the square
I took this picture while I was thinking about how this has truly become my hallmark post card
This square is a wonderful place with wonderful people who have blessed me beyond what I thought was imaginable.
My folks and I make an attempt to work and put on events and support those around us
We are passionate about music and history and bikes and getting to know people
We are open to suggestion on what you as community folks would like us to do next
I.e concert series ,street dance, church praise nite , more lights etc..
We like it all and love to have more reasons to get out
Thanks again to everyone who has supported me and made myself and my folks feel welcome and supported

Get your costumes ready and your candy buckets out! The Town of Glade Spring invites you to our annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 31st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Downtown Square!

Bring your little ghouls, goblins, superheroes, princesses and pirates out for a night of safe, family-friendly Halloween fun right in the heart of town. 🍬✨

🚗🎃 Want to join the fun as a trunk host?
We’re inviting local businesses, organizations, and individuals to decorate your trunks, dress up, and hand out treats! It’s a great way to celebrate Halloween and connect with our community.

👉 Trunk hosts should plan to be fully set up by 5 PM and remain parked until the event concludes at 7 PM. For everyone’s safety, no vehicles will be permitted to enter or exit the event area while children are trick-or-treating. 🚫🚗👧🧒

🚔 Keeping Glade Spring Safe 🚔

This morning, October 10, 2025, the Glade Spring Police Department, with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, and the Damascus Police Department, successfully executed two narcotics search warrants at separate residences on Evergreen Street in Glade Spring.

These coordinated efforts resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia. An additional warrant has also been issued following today’s investigations.

The Town of Glade Spring extends its sincere thanks and congratulations to our Police Department and partner agencies for their continued dedication to keeping our community safe and drug-free.
