Working with Mary Jane to become a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner:

Mary Jane O’Rourke, LCSW has worked in health care since 1999; her passion lies in empowering people to acquire the necessary tools to make positive life changes. She operates with a warm heart, gentle presence and special ability to connect with the human spirit. Her study of Brainspotting began in 2011. After completing each course at least twice (Phases 1-4, Master Class, and a 5 day intensive), Mary Jane became a Certified Brainspotting Consultant under the direction of David Grand. Mary Jane is originally from Montana and was honored to assist Melanie Young in bringing the first Phase 1 to Montana in 2019. Mary Jane has enjoyed the opportunity to assist both Melanie Young and Pie Frey in several online Brainspotting trainings. Mary Jane specializes in Bodyspotting, a technique taught in the Phase 4 Brainspotting Training with David Grand. Stay tuned for information regarding a specialty Bodyspotting course that will be offered by Mary Jane in the early part of 2021. Mary Jane is also scheduled to present on Bodyspotting at the International Brainspotting Conference scheduled for May 2021. ✨Kaiser Permanente had the honor of sponsoring Dr. Pie Frey for a Phase 2 training in Portland, Oregon this past weekend✨

It was delightful to be an assistant at this training in conjunction with Robin Neville and Riisa Humphries.

This group was wonderfully resilient, as the building we were in had some temperature challenges. Help me give a *warm* congratulations to this Phase 2 trained group of Brainspotters! 🥳
