As severe weather approaches, we remind everyone to prioritize their safety above all else. Extreme cold and high winds are forecasted, with wind chill temperatures potentially plummeting to -50° in certain areas. To ensure a safe experience, please adhere to the following guidelines: • Wear layered clothing and protective gear, including hats, gloves, scarves, and insulated boots • Prevent frostbite by covering exposed skin • Warm up your vehicle before driving and check its maintenance • Keep your gas tank at least half full to prevent fuel line freezing • Drive safely, as roads may be slippery, especially with blowing snow • Let someone know your planned route and expected arrival time • Keep a vehicle emergency kit with essentials like blankets, phone chargers, water, and snacks • If you feel uncertain about safety, pause and reassess We value your dedication and commitment to serving others, and we want everyone to return home safely after their shift.
