Wishing the wonderful Tina Buford a very happy birthday!!!! In February, many of us wonder if the groundhog will see his shadow, I always wonder is Tina going to retire? For the last few years (every year) she says she is going to retire at her birthday month. This time it is really going to happen. While yes we are sad, we want what is best for her and her dear husband. I won’t say we are looking to replace her as she is not replaceable but we are looking to hire a kind person with a good work ethic and a heart of gold...just like Tina! In an effort to be proactive versus reactive, approximately 3 weeks ago I met with our staff to discuss safety precautions for Coronavirus as provided by the CDC and we began putting those things into action. Now in addition, beginning Monday we will:
*Practice “social distancing” in our waiting room seating so you will feel more comfortable for the short time you are there. We have always tried to respect your time and see you in a timely manner.
*For our most vulnerable population, we have converted another room into a private waiting room space if you cannot immediately go into an exam room.
*We have ALWAYS practiced terminal cleaning of our patient rooms...meaning, if it was touched, it was cleaned and of course this will continue.
*Sanitizing agents will be used throughout the day on common area surfaces and will also be available at the front desk.

Good Morning! This is Hannah Bradburn, CMA from Wound Care Center at Glasgow, Vivian Franklin’s office. I am posting this notice on Vivian’s site to let everyone know Vivian Franklin was notified she is the recipient of an award from a nomination by one of her patients! In light of this honor, we the staff, will be hosting a reception for her at the Wound Center on Wednesday, October 16th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. We work with her every day and witness her love and concern for each and every patient and for us! Please come and join us. I know she would appreciate it.
