Christmas is definitely in the air! 🎄✨

Everyone had such a wonderful time creating beautiful holiday wreaths today. From choosing ribbons and ornaments to adding those perfect finishing touches, the creativity and smiles were overflowing.

And the best part—showing off the finished masterpieces by our beautiful tree created by Ginger Flare Decorating ! 🎁❤️
Our community is glowing a little brighter with each wreath made and every moment shared. A big Thank you to Matt our Maintenance Director for helping us!

Our residents and staff had an absolute blast today playing our life-sized version of Hungry Hungry Hippos! 🦛🎉
With pool noodles, colorful balls, and lots of laughter, everyone jumped in to scoop up as many “treats” as they could. It was a fun mix of teamwork, friendly competition, and big smiles all around.

Love seeing everyone engaged and enjoying the moment together! 💛✨

Desiray Pedigo, one of our outstanding CNAs at Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation, recently enjoyed her Christmas in Gatlinburg Trip, awarded in recognition of her hard work and dedication.

Desiray’s compassion, reliability, and commitment to our residents make a remarkable difference every day. She consistently goes above and beyond, and we were thrilled to celebrate her with this special getaway.

Desiray spent the weekend getaway surrounded by family, friends, and even members of her BCNR team, making the experience truly special. ❤️🎄🎅🏼

We’re thrilled to share some big news! Barren County Nursing & Rehabilitation has been named one of the Best of Kentucky in Nursing & Rehabilitation! Our Administrator, Sarah Rowe, proudly accepted the award at the KCARE banquet held yesterday evening.

This recognition is such a testament to the hard work, compassion, and dedication of our entire team. From our nursing staff to therapy, administrative, and support – everybody plays a role in making BCNR a place where residents feel cared for, safe, and truly at home.

Thank you to our residents, their families, and all of our staff for being part of this journey. We couldn’t do it without you.
