Rowan University Office of Accessibility Services

Rowan University Office of Accessibility Services The Accessibility Services office strives to help students excel in academics, while meeting their individual needs.

Accessibility Services works with any student on campus to ensure they are properly accommodated both in and out of the classroom. The Office of Accessibility Services provides accommodations and assistance to students with various documented disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Students who meet University admissions requirements (i.e., otherwise qualified to attend the University) are required to submit appropriate documentation so that the University can determine whether they qualify for reasonable accommodations. We also are offering new programs for students registered with our office. Last summer we initiated a program for students during Welcome Week. College Compass is a program to help students "navigate new beginnings". Our goal is to offer support and guidance for students throughout the welcome week activities!

SAVE THE DATE! ๐ŸŽจ The 6th Annual Tri-State Ability Art Show returns to the Y.A.L.E. Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Cherry Hill on April 24 & 25. This yearโ€™s theme is Metropolis โ€“ inspired by the incredible artwork of late New York City pop-culture artist Michael โ€œBร„STโ€ Polemeni. ๐Ÿ™๏ธโœจ

We are now accepting artwork from talented young student artists in grades K-12 and ages 18-21 with an IEP or 504 Plan from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

We canโ€™t wait for the PAC to transform into a true metropolis of creativity, filled with artwork by students with disabilities across the area.
