Mission: To build a community where individuals with hidden disabilities feel inclusive in their collegiate setting and are seen for who they are equally to their counterparts. Educating and helping individuals with and without hidden disabilities, by understanding each other and learning about awareness. The Hidden Disabilities Alliance goals are to help those with disabilities and without disabilities to overcome obstacles and assist in providing the success tools at Rowan University so those with and without disabilities can come together in a diverse learning setting. Through, education, awareness, and social engagement ensuring equal inclusive opportunities without judgement or discrimination.

Hello everyone hidden disability Alliance Club is doing a bin for a women's shelter so if you could donate some things like shampoos, conditioners, make up, tissues, toiletries, diapers, tampons, pads, socks, ect. The bin is located in the third floor of Savitz hall at Rowan University in Academic Success Center.

Hello, my name is Renee Handley and I am a member of the Hidden Disability Alliance at Rowan University. I have dyslexia, which is a language learning disability that affects reading and spelling. I struggle with spelling and understanding what I am reading. Something I really enjoy is volunteering at the two Girl Scout Camps that I went to as a child. I volunteer at Girl Scout. Camp Sacajawea and Camp Inawendiwin on the weekends during the school year. In high school, I did over 400 volunteer hours between my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I love volunteering and it makes me happy.
