I'm Melissa and I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Elite Performance Therapeutic Massage. I'm very passionate about helping others through massage therapy and bodywork. I came into this profession with the hope and understanding of wanting to make a change in my clients life, whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally.

I'm a graduate of The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and member of the American Massage Therapy Association. As well as owning my own practice I spend time working at UConn providing my professional services to the Division of Athletics and assisting various sports teams through massage.

When I'm not massaging I enjoy being with my family. I can be found on the basketball court, soccer field and baseball field cheering on my 2 boys.

I have been in business now for just over 7 years, with the help and support of you. It has been a fun, educational and inspiring ride! I am blessed and honored to have gained your trust and business! Hopefully you can understand as I am currently looking at a rate change slated to happen March 1st 2024.

Here at Elite Performance Therapeutic Massage I have always strived to have fair prices and feel this change is still in line with these goals. I wanted to give you a "heads up" and the opportunity to "stock up" on massages at my current price. This is my first rate increase since 2016. Keeping in line with industry standards, factoring the rising costs of doing business and most importantly the hundreds of continuing education hours I earned to bring you the best in therapy. Most recently I earned my Master Myoskeletal Therapist(MMT) certification which is one of the most highly regarded certifications a massage therapist can receive.

I will still be offering package deals and referral discounts so please continue to take advantage of these deals. I look at Massage Therapy as a critical health tool aid. Massage Therapy not only helps relax and decrease stress, it also helps prevent injury, recover from injuries faster, increases mobility and improves overall health and wellbeing. How Important is Massage For Young Athletes?

Sports play a huge role in the lives of our kids. The best way to set your child up for success is to help them take care of their bodies through a healthy diet, rest, and massage therapy from Elite Performance Therapeutic Massage.
