Registration is open for the 2025 Fall Managed Care Forum. Taking place November 6-7 at Caesars Palace. The nurses pre-conference will be Wednesday Nov. 5th with 4 hours of education geared towards nurses. Fall Forum offers up to 14 CNE depending on the sessions you attend, with the pre-conference adding another 4 hours of education.

Current Respiratory Case Managers: Interest in paid market research for a pharmaceutical consulting agency?

Qualifications:
-Knowledge and experience in caring for patients with bronchiectasis
-Currently or recently (within 1 year) employed by a health insurance organization

We are looking for 5-6 respondents for 30-minute interviews the week of December 11th. The topic will be focused on the roles and responsibilities of the case manager in patients with bronchiectasis.

Professional Identity in Managed Care Nurses survey (by AAMCN member): You are being invited to participate in a nursing research study about professional identity in nursing associated with managed care nurses.

Why is this important: Professional identity in nursing is defined as a sense of oneself that is influenced by the characteristics, norms and values of the nursing discipline, resulting in the individual thinking, acting and feeling like a nurse. Managed care nurses are often overlooked as a specialty and there is a noticeable gap in the literature about managed care associated with professional identity in nursing.

The survey is in Qualtrics and is anonymous. Your participation is voluntary, you can opt out and choose not to participate. If you choose to proceed, follow the link below and complete the survey. I appreciate you taking the time and volunteering to share your thoughts on this important topic.

We are delighted to announce that the 2020 AAMCN Nurse of the Year is Monika Yadrnak, BSN, RN, CMCN!

Monika Yadrnak BSN, RN, CMCN is the Director of Care Coordination, Utilization Management at AultCare. Ms. Yadrnak has over twenty years of nursing experience and has worked in care coordination and utilization management for the last decade. At AultCare, she is known for her leadership, dependability, transparency, efficiency, and high standards along with fostering cohesiveness and growth within the organization. Colleagues know that her door is always open should they need advice. In the words of her nominator: "She is always there for all. AAMCN Accepting Nominations for Two 2021-2023 Board Members

Two seats on the AAMCN Board of Directors are becoming available at the end of 2020. The term length for this position is from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023. Duties for Board Members include attending quarterly meetings and one forum per year, providing innovative ideas to promote the association, and actively participating in council affairs, to state a few. To see the complete list of duties and responsibilities, see the criteria below.
