Our Heartfelt Farewell and Hope for the Future
Dear Beloved Customers,
It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we write this email to you today. We find ourselves at a crossroads, bidding farewell to the Embrace CBD Wellness Centers that have been our labor of love for nearly five years. Our journey started with a dream and a passion to create a safe space for people to shop for h**p products while focusing on quality control, education, and exceptional customer service. We began with just four products, but with your support and trust, we expanded to three stores, serving tens of thousands of customers and achieving millions in revenue.
Now, we face the devastating reality that our beloved business has fallen victim to government corruption and corporate greed from big cannabis companies. When the people of Maryland voted to legalize cannabis, they did not vote for the destruction of small businesses like ours, which have been an integral part of their communities for years. The level of over-regulation that has come with this so-called "legalization" was unforeseen. Already, we witness dispensaries raising prices, some even doubling them. Highly taxed products and limited supply will restrict access to a variety of cannabis products. This is not what the people voted for.
We are heartbroken, but we want you to know that we fought tooth and nail to prevent the crooks in Annapolis from taking away your access to these products and our livelihoods. Sadly, they turned a deaf ear to our pleas. However, we firmly believe that this greed, corruption, overreach, and anti-competitive behavior will eventually blow up in their faces. The true spirit of America lies in supporting local businesses, fostering healthy competition, and championing the rights of hardworking entrepreneurs like ourselves.
To all of you, our incredible customers, who have become like family to us, we cannot express our gratitude enough. Your unwavering support and loyalty have meant everything to us. It is because of you that we have been able to create a nurturing community, share knowledge, and provide products that have enhanced your well-being.
