One reaction that I encounter often from my newby clients is “no way, I can’t have a cheat meal, that will ruin all of my progress”
When my clients first start out, they are deathly AFRAID of having a cheat meal and falling off the wagon again. I’ve heard this so many times…
Here’s the old scenario...
One cheat meal turns into a cheat day, then the day becomes a week and it all goes to s**t.
They say to themselves, welp, I done messed up these past few days so I might as well finish out the month on a bad note and maybe start fresh next month. And because of eating so horribly, it makes them feel worse, so they go on another diet.
As a career-driven woman, I can assure you that this doesn’t happen when it comes to your business.
Sure you have bad days, you get stressed out, but you damn sure don’t allow one bad day or decision to affect the trajectory of your business.
Guess what, your body is your business!..And it deserves the same treatment
The reason why they stayed on this cycle was that they didn’t have a solid plan…
And if you don’t plan, you plan to fail.
It’s so terrible for your body and it leads you on this nasty diet cycle:
Diet~> Depression~> Binge~> Guilt ~>repeat
It’s a woman’s worst nightmare.
But there’s another way
You see, I started giving my clients a plan of attack which included a way for them to have more relaxed days in terms of eating- you know, those days that keep you sane and feeling like a human being.
They would have their entire weeks mapped out for example:
Wednesday eat higher carb
Thursday eat lower carb
Friday eat normally throughout the day and have one cheat meal (with special workout instructions)
Saturday- This is where it gets interesting...
