For October, Glen Cove Center and Emerge hosted two wonderful Wellness Wednesdays filled with connection, education, and meaningful conversations. 💛✨

We took a heartfelt stroll down memory lane with a beautiful reminiscence workshop facilitated by Mary Sudell and Michele Wachter of , exploring the power of memories and the importance of socialization as we age.

The next meet up, our seniors engaged in an informative discussion covering Short-Term Rehab, Homecare after rehab with Melanie Stephen of , Medicare changes and open enrollment with Jane O’Malley, and Medicaid options with Guido Derly of .

Our seniors were engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and left feeling informed and supported. We love educating our community on all topics that matter most! 💬🤝

What an incredible day at this year’s LUNG FORCE Walk! 💙💨
Our Paragon Cardio Pulmonary facilities were proud to be part of the movement, from our table in the tents, to our spot on the event passport for the “Break a Sweat Challenge,” featuring an energizing round of cardio drumming led by Ken and Lisa! 🥁

The crowd joined right in front of the stage, drumming, dancing, and showing just how powerful community, music, and movement can be when united for such an important cause.

We’re honored to stand behind the mission of lung health and awareness a cause that truly hits close to home for our teams. 💙

Members and guests enjoyed a lively DJ, photo booth fun, lunch, raffles, an ice cream truck, and the sweetest handmade cards from the Glen Cove Youth Bureau, a beautiful celebration of connection across generations! 🧡

It’s amazing how a few tail wags can bring so much calm and connection to our residents at Glen Cove Center. 💙
