Do you need personal training or group training?

The answer depends on you.

At RADD we offer three ways to train:

Personal Training – one-on-one coaching focused on your specific goals, injuries, and movement patterns.

Group Training – structured strength workouts with coaching, accountability, and a supportive training environment.

Hybrid Training – a combination of both, where athletes use personal training sessions to refine movement, address limitations, and accelerate progress while also participating in group workouts.

The first step is always the same:

A consultation.

This allows us to understand your goals, training experience, injury history, and movement patterns so we can recommend the approach that will work best for you.

Because the best training plan isn’t one-size-fits-all.

If you’re interested in learning which training approach is right for you, schedule a consultation to get started.

One of the biggest challenges for new lifters learning the back squat is stability at the bottom of the movement.

When someone feels unstable, we often see two common reactions:

The hips shoot up too quickly
The hips shift forward to find balance

Both happen because the athlete is still learning how to control the barbell and keep the weight centered over their mid-foot.

When the bar drifts forward or the body loses stability, the movement becomes inefficient and can eventually place unnecessary stress on the knees, hips, or lower back.

This is why we spend time in the beginning focusing on mechanics and stability before increasing weight.

Barbell training isn’t just about strength.
It teaches the body how to create balance, control, and coordination under load.

At RADD we coach these details early so lifters can build strength safely and continue progressing for years.

If you’re new to barbell training or want to improve your squat mechanics, start with a consultation and movement assessment.

Strength training doesn’t start with heavy weights.

It starts with learning how to control your body.

Movements like push-ups teach foundational strength in the:

• chest
• shoulders
• core
• arms

But more importantly they teach body awareness and stability.

At RADD we don’t rush people into heavier weights or more advanced movements.

We focus on three things first:

1️⃣ Learn mechanics
2️⃣ Practice consistently
3️⃣ Then increase intensity

For some people a push-up might start on the wall.

For others it might be on the floor.

Both are progress.

When strength is built on good mechanics and consistency, your body becomes stronger, more resilient, and less prone to injury.

That’s how we train.

If you’re looking for coaching that meets you where you are and helps you build strength safely, start with a consultation.

Most gyms modify around pain or injuries

We take a different approach.

At RADD, our goal is to help you get out of pain — not just work around it.

Every client starts with a consultation where we look at:

• movement patterns
• past injuries
• strength imbalances
• lifestyle and stress

From there we build a program that matches your body and your goals.

Strength training should make your body feel more capable, more resilient, and more confident.

Not broken.

If you’ve been avoiding the gym because of pain or old injuries, you’re exactly the type of person we help every day.
