Planning a well-rounded class involves a lot more than listing out a few exercises, throwing a few songs on a playlist and showing up to teach. I start by making a list of potential exercises and their targeted muscle groups to one, make sure we are strengthening all areas of your body in a single class and, two, not overworking any muscles. Then I choose the exercises and draw a map of what the setup should look like so that by the time you arrive for class, all you have to do is show up and GO FOR IT. Plus, this specific class plan is extra special because it’s Olympic-themed, so each exercises mimics a Winter Olympics sport (can I get a single-leg deadlift for any ice dancers out there?!?!). It’s all part of making sure that I use my group fitness and personal trainer certifications, 10+ years of experience and sense of humor to make it safe but also FUN for you!
