I’m no food photographer but the Funky Caesar Salad in downtown GE is perhaps one of the best that I’ve ever had! It has a miso dressing which maybe sounds weird but it’s obviously the answer. It’s best when you dine-in but I couldn’t stop thinking about it today so ordered one for carry-out tonight.

P.S. the only class I’m teaching right now is B+B at Balance Yoga + Pilates in north GE, and I would 🩷 to see you there on Sunday morning at 7:30 am! Head to the Balance website to register.

I recently subscribed to Substack because she releases a new recipe every week and ladies, it is SO GOOD. She releases a new recipe every week and I’ve made the last two: Springy Green Goddess Shrimp + Orzo Chop and Sticky Orange Chicky and Brussels. Both are packed with protein and veggies, which are big food goals for me, and my kids loved the chicken + Brussels recipe!

Also, she provides really good substitution ideas for meal prep, dietary needs, etc, so I took her suggestion and used kale in the salad instead of romaine. It’s still delish and the kale will hold up so that I have lunches for the next three days. YAY!

I am one lucky duck to be able to work with such a special group of women and I’ll never forget it! But tonight I’m feeling especially grateful for these ladies who gave up their Friday evening to cook dinner for families at the Ronald McDonald House. Talking with families and seeing them enjoy a home cooked meal while their children are hospitalized across the street certainly puts life in perspective 🩷.
