Womb Wisdom: How to Breathe Into Your Next Becoming

Patience has never been my strong suit, especially when it comes to my own body. In May, I could walk 3.5 miles without thinking twice. Now, after my hip replacement, I'm rebuilding—two miles at a time. Some days, that feels like defeat. But recently, a Tarot reading shifted something in me. The message was: "You'll be a student, but you're not excited yet."

The card was right. I wasn't excited—until I was.

I’ve recently enrolled in biography work rooted in Rudolf Steiner’s teachings. Steiner describes life as unfolding in seven-year cycles, each one inviting us into a new way of seeing and being in the world. At 63, I am stepping into my ninth cycle. This stage is about integration and preparation — gathering the wisdom of all the years I’ve lived and gently shaping what I will carry forward into the next chapter, and even into the next lifetime.

It is not something far away or theoretical. It is happening now, in this body, in this breath. This cycle is less about doing and more about being — living from essence, from inner truth, from the soul’s long view.

Why Whale Energy? 🐳 Whales are one of the oldest beings on the planet and vibrate at the highest frequency. These profoundly wise and heart-centered beings have the capacity to travel through vast levels of consciousness. Whales swim together in etheric pods, moving gracefully through the water–in a natural state of rhythm and harmony. They are multidimensional and assist in raising the frequency of the planet.

Whales are the Akashic record keepers of the planet. The Akasha is a higher dimension and holds a record of past, present and future events. These records offer empowerment and transformation by sharing the wisdom, guidance and energetic support that will help us in this lifetime.

Multidimensional is to have your reality focused in multiple dimensions at one time. It allows you to see new connections and observe life from multiple perspectives.

WhaleBreathing offers access to multidimensional insight. Through their song and vibration, Whale energy helps you tap into cellular memories stored in the body and open up to receiving messages. This process guides you to release energetic blocks that are holding you back, as you integrate the message from spirit into your body. By facing your shadow side, you can transform and heal your life.

How often do you let yourself pause and simply breathe? Not to meditate or achieve something, but to let your mind rest and sink into the present moment, into your body, into the wisdom that already lives within you?

Your life matters. Your breath matters. And the journey of becoming—even when it's slower than you'd like, even when you can't see the destination—is exactly where you're meant to be.

A Practice in Womb Wisdom:
Find a quiet place to sit or lie down. Close your eyes and bring your awareness to your pelvic bowl—the lowest part of your torso. This is your energetic womb, regardless of your physical body.

Breathe naturally, allowing each exhale to help you surrender deeper into this space. Feel the weight of your body held by the earth. Notice any resistance, and breathe through it.

Ask yourself: What am I being called to become? What wisdom am I not yet excited about?

Don't search for answers with your mind. Simply listen with your body. Trust what arises, even if it's only a whisper, even if it doesn't make sense yet.

The path will reveal itself—one breath, one step, one cycle at a time.

Why Whale Breath? 🐳 Whales live in full conscious awareness at all times and don’t fall into a subconscious state, even in sleep. During ‘sleep’ or meditative rest, one side of their brain remains awake, so they can control their breathing. Whales are conscious breathers and must actively swim to the surface of the water to breathe through their ‘nostril,’ or blowhole on top of their head. They breathe air into their lungs, just like we do, and are also unable to breathe underwater.

We are unconscious breathers. In times of stress, we might not even realize that we stopped breathing. When in fear or grief, it’s nearly impossible to hear the truth to make a good decision. Connecting to a meditative state through conscious WhaleBreathing aligns you with spirit and quiets the mind to hear the answers you seek.

The Whales remind us that every inhale is a moment of remembrance, while every exhale offers a chance to release.

What am I ready to release into the deep ocean of trust?

Let your breath guide you to your emotions, intuition, and divine knowing.

• Inhale slowly for a count of 5 — feel yourself arriving.

• Hold for a count of 3 — feel the sacred pause.

• Exhale for a count of 7 — release into the unknown.

Repeat this breath cycle 3–5 times, imagining golden light moving through your body, surrounded by the loving song of whales.

🐋 WhaleBreathing: The Song of Lemuria Remembered

There was once a time…
before the noise of the world, before the separation of heart and Earth —
when humanity breathed as one with the oceans.
This was Lemuria — the continent of light.
A realm where every being lived in harmony with the rhythms of Gaia,
and where the whales, the great record keepers,
carried within their song the memory of creation itself.

The Lemurians knew that breath was sacred.
That with every inhale, they received the pulse of the universe,
and with every exhale, they offered their love back to the One.
Through the language of sound, tone, and vibration,
they communicated with the whales —
a telepathic communion through the Heart.

The whales taught them the art of stillness.
To listen not with the ears, but with the soul.
To breathe not only for survival,
but as a bridge between Heaven and Earth.

As the old world shifted and Lemuria dissolved into the waters,
the whales promised to hold the memory —
the codes of harmony, peace, and unity.
And now, as we enter a new time,
their song calls us home.

When we practice WhaleBreathing,
we reawaken this ancient connection.
We breathe as the Lemurians once did —
slow, deep, rhythmic, and heart-centered.
Each breath becomes a prayer,
each exhale a wave of remembrance.

Through the breath,
we feel the pulse of the ocean within our own body.
We become aware that the same light
that flows through the whales
flows through us.

In this stillness, the whales whisper:

“Breathe, Beloved. Remember who you are.
You are the ocean, the star, and the song of creation.
You are Lemuria rising again — through love.”

Breathwork creates a wave-like movement that activates the lymphatic system and supports brain health.

We're heading into a new chapter energetically, and we need faith right now. We need tools like WhaleBreathing.

Conscious diaphragmatic breathing creates a wave-like movement within the body that activates the lymphatic system, triggers the parasympathetic nervous system (our rest and digest mode), and supports the glymphatic system, which cleanses the brain. When we breathe deeply and fully, we increase oxygen, balance our system, and protect ourselves from the stress that depletes us from the inside out.

But when we consume upsetting news, we breathe shallowly. Fear literally takes our breath away — CO2 rises, our system becomes imbalanced, and we weaken. Worry, fear, and anger are the emotions that block laughter and prevent us from healing from the inside out.

The practice is simple yet profound: place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly. Breathe so that only your belly hand moves. Let the diaphragm create that wave. This is how to maintain your energy, keep your immune system strong, and stay healthy amidst chaos.

Each time I lose a dog, I journey once again into the abyss of grief. Our 17-year-old Lucy, without a doubt, taught me something profoundly beautiful: that you don’t have to be big to be powerful. She was a little 25-pound beagle mix with the determination and fire of a pit bull.

I often wondered how such a small dog could hold so much power. The answer is simple: Lucy knew she was in charge of her life. She moved through the world with confidence and clarity about what she wanted. Each loss opens my heart to feel more deeply, to honor what was, and to let love continue unfolding within me. Lucy’s story now lives inside me, her strength, her spirit, her knowing. I breathe. I cry. I sing. And I let my heart be. ❤️

Here’s a practice that I use to help move through grief:
* Get comfortable. Lie down or sit in a position that allows you to fully relax. Let your body feel supported and safe.
* Surrender to the breath. Bring your awareness to your diaphragm, the gentle rise and fall beneath your ribs. Allow your breath to move naturally, like the rhythm of the ocean. Stay with this for a few moments, simply observing.
* Connect with the Earth. As you breathe, feel the hands of the Earth beneath you, her steady gravity holding and supporting you. Let your body soften into her embrace. Notice how it feels to be held.
* Meet your heart space. Gently bring your attention to your heart. Feel it open to the ache of loss, to the love that still lives there. Allow yourself to be present with whatever arises.
* Allow the flow. Let the tears come if they need to. Feelings are sacred messengers of connection, each breath, each tear, bringing you closer to the truth of your love.
* Let body, soul, and spirit unite. Through this breath, invite your whole being to come together — body, soul, and spirit — in the sacred rhythm of release. As you exhale, imagine the abyss of grief slowly filling with color, with flowers, with light. Let Mother Earth and the ocean’s breath weave their rhythm through you, reminding you that through grief, we also touch life, love, and simply be.
