Glen Rock Pediatrics is a solo practice that provides care to children from birth to 21 years of age.

Despite being the only doctor in the practice, Dr. Halifman is available for her patients 24/7. When she is away on vacation or for any kind of emergency, there will be coverage provided by a group of excellent and experienced local pediatricians. Dr. Dorina Halifman is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a board certified pediatrician with more than 10 years of experience. She graduated in 1994 from the Medical Academy of Latvia and completed her internship at the State Children’s Hospital in Riga, Latvia. After immigrating to the U.S., Dr. Halifman successfully passed her board exams and completed her pediatric residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. She has practiced since 2008 in Scarsdale, Westchester County, NY and lives in Scarsdale, NY with her husband and two children.

As we head into allergy season, we just wanted to share some helpful information in distinguishing between a cold and allergies. If you need to come in with your child you can always give us a call! We are still open and seeing patients in the office.

Attention patients: We are now offering the immunity testing for COVID-19 Antibodies.

Both Quest and Labcorp are offering these services at this time so we are able to administer the blood draw and send it out for processing to whichever laboratory your insurance prefers. Attention patients: With this rapidly changing climate of COVID-19 we just wanted to keep you in the know. We are still open and plan on remaining open as long as we possibly can. Dr. Halifman is still seeing patients for wellness examinations so please call ahead to schedule an appointment. We are trying to limit the amount of sick patients in the office so Dr. Halifman is now offering Telemedicine. If you have any questions or concerns, we are always available via phone. If the office is closed Dr. Halifman is available to be paged in case of emergencies. We hope you all are staying safe and practicing social distancing. Please wash your hands often and try not to go out if you do not have to. Best wishes in good health!

Our Story

Dr. Halifman is available for her patients 24/7. She has extended hours on Tuesdays (2-8pm) and Thursdays (12-6pm) to accomadate any work schedule the parents might have and Saturdays hours (9am-2pm) every other weekend. Dr. Dorina Halifman is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a board certified pediatrician with more than 10 years of experience. She graduated in 1994 from the Medical Academy of Latvia and completed her internship at the State Children’s Hospital in Riga, Latvia. After immigrating to the U.S., Dr. Halifman successfully passed her board exams and completed her pediatric residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. She has practiced since 2008 in Scarsdale, Westchester County, NY and lives in New York with her husband and two children.

During the doctor’s vacation days there will be coverage provided by a group of excellent and experienced local pediatricians so there is never any worry about being able to see a doctor when your child is sick.

Our languages include fluent Russian and English.
