Fall Allergies Got Your Eyes in a Fit?!

Don't let itchy, puffy eyes ruin your cozy vibes this season! Here are some natural ways to ease your eye irritation and bring relief:

Cold Compress: Soothe redness and calm puffiness with a cool, damp cloth over your eyes.

Chamomile Tea Bags: Brew, then chill, and rest these gentle anti-inflammatory wonders on your eyelids to reduce swelling and irritation. Gentle, calming, reduces inflammation and itching.

Cucumber Slices: Pop chilled cucumber slices over your eyes for a refreshing, calming effect. Cooling vitamin C and astringent properties.

Saline Rinse: Wash away allergens with a gentle saline eye rinse to keep those eyes feeling fresh and clean! This just feels so good and hydrating.

Create a soothing blend of lavender, chamomile, and fractionated coconut oil. Apply gently around the eyes (avoiding direct contact) with a rollerball to reduce irritation and hydrate the skin.

Use a chilled jade or stainless steel rollerball around your eyes to reduce puffiness and inflammation. Roll from the inner corner to the outer corner of your eyes, moving lymph fluid gently massaging for 1-2 minutes.

Chilled Spoon Eye Relief, place two metal spoons in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes (or a few minutes in the freezer for quicker relief). Lay back and gently place the back of the spoons over your closed eyelids. Relax for 5-10 minutes while the cool metal reduces puffiness and soothes irritation. Massage for extra relief, gently glide the spoons from the inner to outer corners of your eyes, helping with circulation and de-puffing.

Mind-body self-care is establishing healthy habits energetically, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally all essential to our overall well being. As holistic beings, when the negative patterns formed through lifestyle, past traumas, and unhealthy thought processes are allowed to continue over time, designing our story and increasing all the noise within that story the body’s cells down to the smallest particles energetically are influenced, altered and impacted. By allowing stress, anxiety, anger, depression, unresolved junk, and physical pain to become a poorly managed habit, we invite in on a DNA cellular level the opportunity for chronic illness to begin its manifestation. Cultivating healthy self-care complementary practices guided by your inner awareness can be essential for happiness, health, longevity, an overall higher quality of life.
