Family Focus DuPage promotes the well being of children from birth by strengthening parents within their communities. Information during and after pregnancy.

Home visiting in all of DuPage, parts of Cook and Kane County: The program is based on a national model designed to reduce child abuse and neglect in at-risk families by providing them with: Intensive home visiting services. Learn Parenting skills. Orientation and support. Infant and child development screenings. Referrals to community resources. Doula Program: A Doula is a woman trained and experienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to pregnant women during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. A Doula performs no clinical tasks. She uses massages, aromatherapy and positions to facilitate a normal delivery. Psychotherapy: Services provided by a Masters of Social work graduate, under the supervision of a license clinical social worker. Receive free counseling services when enrolled in our doula or home visiting programs. Learn healthy coping skills, communication with a partner and emotional support as a new parent and more. Child Welfare Service (CWS): This program receives referrals only from the DCFS hotline. CWS connects families to community services such as therapy, school activities, medical appointments etc. This is a voluntary 30 program. A case manager and family enhancement worker will work with you and your family to connect with other organizations to improve your life.

👉 SNAP supports 42 million Americans — 40% of them are children. These benefits aren’t just numbers—they’re nourishment, dignity, and a lifeline for families working hard to make ends meet.

In past government shutdowns, funds were made available in advance. We need that same urgency now.
