Brain injuries often involve disruption to both sensory and motor nerve pathways.
Sensory nerves affect how the brain receives and interprets input — balance, coordination, visual processing, proprioception, and pain.
Motor nerves influence movement, muscle activation, reflexes, and overall control.
In chiropractic care, especially when incorporating cranial techniques, the goal is to support both sides of that equation. 🧠

Vitamin D is often called the “sunshine vitamin,” but biologically it functions as a hormone. ☀️
Once activated in the body, vitamin D regulates more than 2,500 genes involved in critical processes like:
⚡ Energy metabolism
🔄 Hormone signaling
🦴 Mineral homeostasis (calcium & bone health)
🧬 Chromosomal protein regulation
🧠 Neurotransmission and brain function
Your body is designed to make vitamin D when ultraviolet B (UVB) light interacts with sterols in the skin. In ideal conditions, modest sun exposure can meet physiological needs.
However, modern living changes that equation.
An estimated 50–90% of individuals worldwide may be deficient, depending on geographic location and lifestyle.
Those at higher risk include:
• Individuals living above 40° north latitude
• People who spend most of their time indoors
• Those who regularly use high-SPF sun protection
Optimal serum levels are generally considered to be:
