We have a wonderful tradition here at Silverado—the Professional Referral Partners Event: Pie & Wine. Although this tradition began not long ago, it has quickly become one of our favorites.

This event allows us to thank the incredible professionals who partner with the Silverado family and support our mission. It also gives us the opportunity to showcase our Pillars of Engagement—Physical, Cognitive, Stress Reduction, Purposeful Social, and Support Group—which are the foundation of how we help our residents thrive with purpose and meaning each day.

Many of our professional partners shared how much they enjoyed experiencing each pillar firsthand and learning more about how these engagements enrich the lives of our residents.

As the night fell and the early darkness settled in, Silverado shined bright with warmth and community. From the moment you walked through our doors, you could feel the love, comfort, and togetherness that make this place home.

Our Thanksgiving Event was truly beautiful — from the festive décor to the aroma of home-cooked food that brought back nostalgic Thanksgiving memories, to the incredible live entertainment by Jay Isaacson & Pianist, Scott Schmidt, and our very own Zach O. The room was filled with music, conversation, and the joyful buzz of families connecting with one another.

With wine flowing, plates full, and hearts even fuller, the evening brought our residents, families, and team together in the most meaningful way. We even filled the parking lot to the brim and provided shuttle service — a wonderful sign of how many came to celebrate!

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

Today, we proudly celebrated Veterans Day and honored the brave men and women who call Silverado North Shore home. Our ceremony included a special pinning by Captain Benjamin H., U.S. Marine Corps, as we recognized each of our resident veterans for their service and sacrifice.

Everyone enjoyed live music by Patrick Odel, who filled the room with patriotic tunes that had us all singing along. Our veterans were showered with heartfelt gifts and appreciation, along with delicious patriotic cookies provided by Vitas and root beer floats provided by Brighton.

A heartfelt thank you to our community partners for helping make this day so meaningful and to our residents for reminding us what true courage and dedication look like.

A Day at the Milwaukee Domes! 🌿
Our residents took a trip down memory lane visiting a place many remembered from their younger days — the Milwaukee Domes! It was fascinating to see all the beautiful flowers, creative displays, and experience the different temperatures as we moved from one dome to the next. Each dome offered something new to explore and learn about — from tropical jungles filled with misty air and towering trees to colorful blooms that brightened our day.

It was a blast revisiting such an iconic Milwaukee treasure and watching our residents light up with memories and wonder
