There are so many ways to stay warm in the winter! Getting our bodies moving keeps us nice and toasty, cookies and coffee help warm us from the inside out (LOL ☕🍪), and singing Happy Birthday always warms the heart. 🎶❤️ No matter what, we’re all about keeping our residents happy, active, smiling, and feeling the love—because winter is better when it’s filled with laughter and joy!

Winter Ball at Our Community ❄️💙

We held our Winter Ball on a chilly day with temperatures at just 10 degrees—but inside our community, it was cozy, warm, and full of joy. Fantastic music filled the halls as Craig sang, and before long everyone was singing along. You could hear the music throughout the community, and it was truly beautiful to experience.

Our culinary team joined the fun by whipping up warm, tasty treats to keep everyone extra cozy. Zach arrived looking sharp in his bowtie, serving up snow cones alongside his sidekick Javi—because you can’t have a Winter Ball without snow cones! ❄️🍧

We also had a photo booth for everyone to enjoy and capture special memories. It was wonderful to see families and residents laughing, smiling, and truly enjoying the atmosphere together. A magical winter day filled with warmth, music, and community spirit

🎉🎂 Birthday smiles all around! 🎂🎉
We celebrated a very special birthday, and she was absolutely glowing as everyone sang Happy Birthday during lunchtime. Balloons, cake, and lots of love—can’t beat that! 💕

After cake, our amazing caregiver Kay made the day even more special by singing and dancing with Jean to celebrate her big day. 💃🎶

Birthdays are truly special, and we love making sure our residents feel extra loved and celebrated on their day.

Has anyone ever made King’s Hawaiian Cinnamon Buns? Because we did… and wow! 😋

A couple of our residents jumped right in and led the way—from mixing and spreading on the butter to adding the best part once they were baked… the icing! (Let’s be honest, that’s everyone’s favorite 😉)

I asked Tom how they tasted, and when someone starts licking their fingers, you don’t even need an answer—you know they were amazing!

After all that sweetness, it was time to get moving! Our awesome care team brought in their kids, and the fun really kicked off. Balls were flying, laughs were everywhere, and every resident got a turn—though the kids might’ve gotten the biggest workout of all! 😄

A day full of cinnamon buns, smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of heart.

In some states, winter comes with a cozy screenshot on a screen. Here in Wisconsin, we have the real thing! ❄️ Big, fluffy snowflakes, a fresh blanket of white, and everything looking peaceful and beautiful—this is winter the way it’s meant to be. Our residents get to enjoy the beauty of it all from the comfort of their home.

What a fantastic outing we had at Just Kiln Time! 🎨✨ This ceramic studio let everyone pick their very own piece to paint—and wow, there were so many choices and paint colors to choose from!

Our crew happily selected their ceramics and jumped right into painting, brushes flying and creativity flowing. They loved getting out of the community, having fun, and creating something special with their own hands. Now comes the hardest part—waiting about seven days to see the finished masterpieces! We can’t wait to see how they turn out!

As many of you know, it is flu season, and our residents truly stepped up in a big way. With pride and purpose, they took it upon themselves to wipe down surfaces and help clean throughout the community. These moments are so meaningful—giving our residents a sense of purpose, reminding them they are needed, and keeping them active and engaged. Their efforts not only help keep our community clean and healthy, but also fill it with heart, teamwork, and care for one another.
