Welcome September babies!!! What a monthโ€ฆI genuinely thought I only took 5 clients for September but somehow I ended up with 12, 2 of them delivering the day of my surgery! I worked literally up until the day of my surgery & I am so thankful for my friends and .ey who were able to help me out this month! Also shoutout to Hayley with who secured a placenta for me as well! This October off is MUCH NEEDED!!! Congratulations to all of these families! ๐Ÿ’™

Less than a week ago, I had a hysterectomy! This was never my planโ€ฆI always envisioned keeping my uterus, even when I felt done with babies. I had a tumor growing on my uterus that was wreaking havoc on my bladder, pelvic floor muscles, & hormones. It was most likely benign, but I should receive a pathology report soon.
I never showed any symptoms, but the tumor was palpable during my last pap smear/pelvic exam. What eventually can happen in this situation is bladder damage/incontinence & uterine/vaginal prolapse so I feel SO thankful to have caught this before any problems started. Book your yearly pap/pelvic exam guys!!
Also, donโ€™t rely on your OBGYN to have the most up to date information & technology when it comes to pelvic floor/uterine/ovarian/uro issues. See a Urogynocologist!!!!! It makes ALL of the difference.
I had a vaginal hysterectomy & kept my ovaries! OF COURSE I tried to keep my uterusโ€ฆI even had a jar ready. My doctor really pushed for a pathological analysis because of the tumor, but his team was able to capture & print some pictures for me!

So many of these babies were born after the halfway point of the month & all within a couple days of each other so I am doing my best to get everyoneโ€™s capsules cranked out! For the sake of safety & sterilization between clients, there is a bit of a delay this month..on top of the chaos that is life with 4 kids, I promise I am working hard to get everything done!
