Taking time for yourself

There are people out there who have secret talks with their selves at night before falling asleep. No, they are not crazy and yes, it is healthy.
You are the only person that can answer those difficult questions walking around in your head and keeping your brain a hostage. In a random week day, you do not always have time to do that.
So, take benefit of this situation and clear your head, take those decisions that have been torturing you.
You can also try to download an app called “Headspace”. It will help you learn how to meditate. It is a nice thing you can do for yourself. All you need is a quiet space and a rug to sit with your legs crossed. A little candle wouldn’t hurt anybody.
Try it. You will be surprised by all those things you did not tell even to yourself.

Spaces you should declutter every week:
Bathroom

There are steps you can take to cut bathroom clutter long-term, such as making sure you have adequate storage.
But even when you’ve taken care of that, minor clutter can still accumulate on counters and in cabinets.
Once a week, take a minute to straighten out the makeup you didn’t have time to put away, the bottles that may have tipped over, and any other little bits of bathroom clutter that can make a small room look messy.

Science-backed tips to working from home successfully:
Sitting near a window

The field of environmental psychology, which explores our relationship with our immediate surroundings, has lots to teach us about being stuck indoors and creating an office in the home.
The first thing to think about is where to sit.
A concept known as ‘refuge and prospect’ says that humans are more comfortable sat with our backs to the wall and a view of the door or window.
It is believed that we prefer these settings because these factors could contribute to our survival by being the safest places we could be.
A view of trees or even a picture of scenery on your wall can help.
If you can find a room with a view of any kind of nature then this has the ability to reduce blood pressure and the circulation of stress hormones, and it increases the capacity for directed attention, which is the ability to focus.

Different types of cream
Canned heavy cream

Like all-purpose cream, it does not whip well and has been pasteurized to be shelf stable, but it is lighter in both taste and texture.
It's perfect for those who like a light yet still creamy taste in their dishes.
It is still extremely versatile and can be used for both sweet and savory dishes.
Canned heavy cream is the more affordable substitution for cooking cream, which means that it can be used for dishes cooked at high temperatures without breaking or curdling, including chocolate truffles, sauces or stews.

It takes more than just absorption to become smarter

They use profound and practical know-how.

Practical guide to owning fewer clothes
Wearing fewer colors

Most of us already have a few favorite colors that we wear most often anyway, usually because we like the way we look in them.
Choosing to intentionally wear fewer colors means fewer accessories, i.e., shoes, belts, jewelry, handbags, etc.
It also makes too much sense not to try.

Fruits & vegetables you shouldn’t be refrigerating #2
Garlic, onions & shallots

With the exception of spring onions and scallions, alliums shouldn’t be stored in the fridge.
These bulbs benefit from being kept in a cool, dry, dark place.
And make sure to avoid wrapping them in plastic bags.
Your shallots, onions, and garlic want to breathe.
And breathing in a plastic bag isn’t the easiest thing to do.

Optimism

The human brain is wired to be negative. We anticipate threats. We exaggerate threats. We sometimes see threats that simply are not there. It’s protective, but it’s also burdensome.
When we meet someone who is upbeat and optimistic, we remember them. You know the type: They see the glass as half full, while the rest of us see it as half empty.
Their optimism can be contagious. We feel better just being around such people. Compared to the pessimist, the optimist is a brilliant light in the darkness. Optimists may confuse us, but they are unforgettable.

Psychological tricks to make anyone fall for you
Making friends with other people’s friends

Having people in common, like mutual friends who have “similarities,” really matters for us.
Establishing a friendship with the acquaintances of others can play a big role in building trust with all of them.
Also, it makes people feel closer to each other when they have a couple of similar friends.
And it’s a good way to expand the group of people you are in right now.

Communication mistakes that can ruin your relationships
Defensiveness

When there is a problem, don't constantly place the blame on your partner. Don't always play the victim. If you never take responsibility for your actions, and constantly make your partner the "bad guy", you are destructively defensive.

Doing this invalidates his/her feelings, and it is controlling and manipulative. If you are defensive, you are constantly looking for excuses, instead of admitting you are wrong. Making a mistake is a learning opportunity. Admit you were wrong, apologize and move forward.
