The inspiration behind the founding of DEC came from David, son of Nancy and Sky Younger. As co-founders, Nancy and Sky sought to establish a faith based organization that would provide loving, quality care and services to special needs children and adults such as their son. Today, in honor of David’s memory, DEC continues to grow and expand their services through our summer and after school train

ing programs for school age children, and adult day program. DEC also provides home based services such as Habilitation and Attendant Care, and hourly respite care to provide relief to the primary care giver.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we enjoy this day with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day.
