Counseling4Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides pathways to brighter futures for children and families through compassionate and transformative mental health services. Mission Statement: Counseling4Kids Delivers healing and advocacy to at-risk children and families to improve the quality of life for all. Core Values:

Intern Spotlight | Meet Jake, our Practicum Student at our Torrance Office!

Q: What drew you to the field?
I always found psychology very interesting, and was always my friend's "counselor" growing up.

Q: What was your favorite part of your master’s program?
My favorite part is doing this, being in the field, and having sessions with clients!

Q: Where do you look forward to working someday?
I look forward to working with clients, and in the future have my own practice of my own!

Q: One thing you hope to learn or take away from your time with Counseling4Kids?
I hope to take away having more experience in working with clients, and how a great organization like Counseling4kids works!

Q: A fun fact about yourself?
I used to model for Uniqlo!
