Spring 2025 Board-Hosted Salon Event

On Wednesday, April 30th, the Glendale Memorial Health Foundation held its third salon event, graciously hosted by board member Raana Hasnat and her husband Omar Hijazi. The event took place in the backyard of their beautiful home, offering amazing and sweeping views of Glendale.

Guests enjoyed a presentation by Dr. Kamyar Ebrahimi on medical advancements in Aquablation at Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. Our hosts created an enchanting evening under the stars, complete with delicious cuisine and romantic music from the unique, cultural, and historical region of Bengal.

These salon events provide a wonderful opportunity for board members, hospital executives, and physicians to socialize and network with donors and community members, allowing them to learn more about the hospital and how they can get involved.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Raana and Omar for their dedicated involvement on the foundation board and for opening their home to host such a beautiful evening filled with music, food, and fun!

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that the Glendale Memorial Health Foundation's Annual Charity Golf Classic, held on Friday, April 11, 2025, was a resounding success! Thanks to the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of our community, we successfully raised $155,000.

Over 150 participants enjoyed a day of golf, and we sincerely thank everyone who participated, sponsored, and contributed. Your support is deeply appreciated. Hospital President Betsy Hart noted that this year's tournament was the most successful to date.

We're pleased to share that 100% of the proceeds will go towards purchasing a 4K resolution C-arm for Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. This crucial piece of equipment is used to guide surgeons during complex procedures and will provide them with the latest technology, offering enhanced visibility and sharpness for an improved patient experience.

Thank you again for your commitment. We will keep you updated on how these funds will enhance our facilities and services.

This state-of-the-art technology uses waterjet precision for a minimally invasive and highly effective treatment for prostate conditions.
