A steadfast civil rights leader, minister, and advocate for social justice, he devoted his life to advancing equality, economic empowerment, voting rights, and opportunity for all. As a close associate of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., founder of Operation PUSH and the Rainbow Coalition, and a historic presidential candidate, Reverend Jackson’s voice helped shape the ongoing pursuit of justice and unity in America. His legacy of courage, faith, and tireless advocacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

We at Forest Lawn extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Frank Gehry, the pioneering architect who reshaped skylines and redefined how we interact with the buildings that shelter us. Known for his fluid, sculptural structures and fearless innovation, he created some of the world’s most beloved landmarks, including treasures here in Los Angeles such as The Walt Disney Concert Hall. His work was a gift not only to this city but to humanity—spaces that uplifted, inspired, and challenged us to dream bigger. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and all whose lives were touched by his creativity. His legacy will continue to shine through the iconic structures bearing his unmistakable spirit.
