Please message me on Facebook for more information. Tibetan Singing bowls are wonderful to listen to. They produce clear fundamental tones and multiple harmonic overtones, which will lull you into relaxation and peacefulness leaving you feeling great. This vibrational music gives you access to your internal healing powers and higher wisdom. Out of attending a concert, one might find themselves experiencing creativity, insights, and inspirations for actions that will result in personal breakthroughs and healing experiences. Every cell in your body will be bathed in the sounds of 25 Tibetan singing bowls, Paiste symphonic gong, 40" Chau gong, Wind gong, 32" Celestial gong, ocean surf drum, & tingshas.

This article presents a different approach to the mechanism of sound healing...very interesting. For the record, all Tibetan (or more accurately Himalayan) bowls are bronze not brass. I'm a huge fan of both crystal and bronze singing bowls, however I only work with bronze bowls. I have sold bronze singing bowls for years, but only those that were made years ago. Modern mass produced bowls like those flooding the market from Thamel Mart more often have a fast harsh sound pattern which to me creates stress rather than relaxation. I have transitioned the singing bowls I sell to just antique bowls as their sound is usually much better and I believe they were made with the intention of them being healing instruments rather than high volume commerce to Amazon.com.

Coherent sonic environments such as “sound baths” recalibrate moods and nervous systems.

Yesterday I rescued (bought) this 40" Chau gong which was living outdoors and not being used. I am bringing it to tonight's Summer Solstice sound meditation. There is still room and I am taking reservations through 4:30pm. Hope you can make it. Namaste Erik 858 414 0088

This amazing antique gong was used in the spring equinox session and now belongs to a north county sound healer. I have 24 singing bowls for sale, 11 of which are antique. If you're looking for a singing bowl, I can send you a list of my inventory which includes the notes played...from 4" to 20".

**UPDATE** After hours of removing decades of oils, dirt, and tarnish and with proper hanging allowing full vibration, I am now able to hear the full expression of the gong. The seller told this was a school gong sold to him by a teacher who worked at the school...and as I cleaned it more and more I was able to see that "Chaparral H.S." was etched in the back and when Googled it, there are Chaparral High Schools in both El Cajon and Temecula. So it was a school gong sold to my seller and now to me and I cannot see letting this unique gong go. Here is a short clip on my cell phone which is horrible at recording gongs (may require listening through a headset as my PC speakers can't handle it). It truly is a unique gong...unlike sheet metal gongs, the outer edge of the gong has the deepest base and best sound. Below in comments are before and after pics.

A piece of Gong/Tam Tam history is the newest addition to Resonant Verve and will be debuting at the April 15th sound session (8 spaces left). This gong is from the 1970’s and was the predecessor for the Celestial/Targo gongs of today by UFIP (Unione Fabricanti Italiani di Piatti musicali e tam-tams). Bronze working in the area around Pistoia in Italy can be traced back nearly 4,000 years with a long tradition of bell making dating back to the Renaissance and, by the 1800s, they had expanded into chimes, bells and cymbals. What make this gong different is rather than being made from rolled sheets of metal like all other gongs, this gong is actually cast like a bell and then is lathed to make the rings and hammered as well. This family of cast gongs is sometimes described as part bell, part cymbal and part gong, and they have a unique sonic presence. This 32” gong is a heavy monster and weighs more than my other three gongs combined. Feed back after the April 15th session will determine if this gong stays a part of my regular set up or not…this will be Gong Survivor… I will abide by the tribes decision…come April 15th and let me know. Cell phones don’t record gongs well…but here is a taste of this gong… a 1970’s Slingerland made by UFIP.

A few changes for 2018. After doing 2 sessions in Dec and Jan, I am going back to only one monthly session at the original time 7:15pm arrival and 7:30pm start. Jan 7th I set up my Meinl Professional double gong stand for the first time at a session and there was a noticeable difference in the richness and depth of the 32" Saturn gong as the floor stand I had been using prevented me from using full mallet strokes on the sweet spots of that gong. After 3 failed attempt to get custom singing bowls mallets made to replace my old worn out mallet, I spent last Saturday experimenting on my own mallet making and I cracked the mallet code and was able create the cushion I needed. I made two mallets and will be doing some more revisions on them and in the end will have a series of mallets each to create a different sound profile. Feeding in multiple mallets strikes from different mallets in same bowl within seconds of each other expanded and enriches the range and complexity of the vibrations. I'm excited for the Feb 11th session which is also a 4th Anniversary for me as my first public sound concert was 2/9/14. Thank you for your patronage in the past and for 2018. Happy new year and best wishes for a healthy, balanced, and enriching 2018.

Having just performed my favorite session ever tonight for a group of 5 people, where as I normally have 10-12 in my sound chamber concerts, I am inspired to launch a second concert offering for small groups where a deeper longer, experience is desired. 50% less people, more focused playing to each of person during the concert, bowling on everyone (at the same time) after the main concert for 30 mins, and then doing some playtime with bowls on heads for another 20 mins.

So now there are 2 concert options:
--Private concert, 60 mins of sound up to 15 people (12 in sound chamber)
--VIP extended experience 60 min concert, extended come back time, 30 mins community bowling, 20 mins playtime, 2 hours total, 6 people max.

People have asked me about the making of Hand hammered Singing bowls. I found this video of them being made in a factory in Nepal. Little has changed in 1500 years. In my quest for singing bowls that are not only powerful and healing, but also works of art in themselves, I have finally tapped into the source and am now importing bowls directly from a factory in Nepal.

Here is an MP3 for download of my concert performed Friday 2/7/14 as recorded by a friend. His microphone was overwhelmed by the vibrations in a few spots, and vibrational music is more powerful in person than recordings, but this is a nice demo of my sound concerts with goes for a little over 45 mins. Enjoy for relaxation and meditatation. Namaste Erik

This is the only recording of any of my concerts back from 2/7/14 when I did 45 minute sessions. If you go down to Feb 2014 on my time line there is also a link to download a MP3 of it. This is a recording by a audience member who's microphone was overwhelmed by the vibrations in a few spots. Vibrational music is more powerful in person than recordings, but this is a nice demo of my sound session. Namaste
