Marine Demirjian, M.D. is a board certified Allergy and Immunology specialist whose practice emphasis is centered around the treatment of allergic disease. Dr. Demirjian earned her medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine. Subsequently she completed Internal Medicine Residency training at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and Allergy & Immunology Fellowship at the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center and Children's Hospital, Los AngelesDr. Demirjian is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology as well as the American Board of Internal Medicine. She holds numerous professional society memberships including the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Did you know epinephrine auto-injectors, the first-line treatment for an anaphylaxis reaction, can lose potency within hours when stored in a hot vehicle? Short-term exposure to heat in a car on a sunny day can decrease the concentration of epinephrine in auto-injectors. A degraded epinephrine auto-injector could result in underdosage during anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction.

Note: Low risk healthcare workers such as administrative support staff without routine in-person patient contact will be offered vaccination in Phase 1B Tier 2. Veterinary Medical Personnel will be offered vaccination in Phase 1B.
